Botox

Is Botox safe and effective?

If you are between the ages of 18 and 65 with moderate to severe frown lines, you may be a candidate for BOTOX® Cosmetic. Clostridia botulina bacteria produce a class of chemical compounds known as “toxins”.The Botulina Type A Toxin (BOTOX) is processed and purified to produce a sterile product suitable for specific therapeutic uses.Once the diluted toxin is injected, it produces a temporary paralysis of muscle by preventing transmission of nerve impulses to muscle. The duration of muscle paralysis generally lasts for approximately three to four months. BOTOX® Cosmetic is a quick and minimally invasive procedure consisting of a few tiny injections into muscles. The effects are very localized and when administered by a PS. Skin Care Aesthetician, do not affect your ability to smile, laugh, or otherwise show expression. BOTOX® injections are customized for every patient, depending on his or her particular needs. These can be performed in areas involving the eyelid region, forehead, and neck. BOTOX® cannot stop the process of aging. It can however, temporarily diminish the look of wrinkles caused by muscle groups.BOTOX® injections may be performed as a singular procedure or as an adjunct to a surgical procedure. BOTOX®also has been used therapeutically for more than 17 years to treat a variety of medical conditions. BOTOX® is now FDA – approved for severe underarm and palm sweating when topical agents don’t work. For more information consult with your PS. Restylane

The Restylane® family of products includes Restylane® and Perlane®. Both are natural cosmetic dermal fillers injected into the skin adding volume to smooth wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth. Both have been FDA approved. The hyaluronic acid in both products is made by the same biotechnical process. Perlane® gel particles are larger and designed for deeper injection than Restylane®. The aestheticians of the PS. Skin Care Center can help you decide which treatment is right for you. Both products offer long-lasting results. Restylane® will last about 6 months and Perlane® the same in the majority of most patients.

Juvaderm

Bringing back its volume and smoothing away facial wrinkles and folds, Juvéderm® is the only HA filler that’s FDA approved to last up to 1 year.

Spider Vein Treatment

How does Spider Vein Treatment work?

Chemical Peels

Are Chemical Peels gentle?

Clinically researched formulations help reduce the depth of surface lines, smooth rough skin texture, treat skin discoloration and redness, and assist in cleaning acne/blemished skin without the downtime often associated with chemical peels.

Gentle ingredients such as naturally occurring alpha hydroxy acids, trichloroacetic acid, salicylic acid, resorcinol, retinol and antioxidants plus polyphenols and skin brightners are carefully blended and work synergistically to remove dull, damaged surface layers and reveal your smooth, radiant, glowing skin that is hidden below the surface.
