Edward Andrew Luce, M. D.
Dr. Luce has been in the clinical practice of plastic surgery for 30 years. Until recently, he was Chief of Plastic Surgery at the University Hospital and is the past-president of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (The National Society of Board-Certified Plastic Surgeons), The American Society of Maxillofacial Surgery, and the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. He is Board Certified in General and Plastic Surgery and is a past Chairman of the American Board of Plastic Surgery (the body that certifies plastic surgeons). Dr. Luce’s national recognition is exemplified by his election in AMERICA’S TOP DOCS and in all four editions of BEST DOCTORS IN AMERICA.
Dr. Luce has a particular clinical interest in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the breast and abdomen, but has experience in a broad range of adult and pediatric reconstructive surgery and cosmetic surgery of the head and neck.
Dr. Luce believes that excellent plastic surgery is patient problem-solving and then provision of a solution by the use of superb technical operating principles.
