We restore, repair and make whole those
parts which nature has given but fortune has taken away,
not so much that they may delight the eye, but that
they may buoy up the spirit and help the mind."

Plastic surgery means many things to
each of us. We feel that it restores the joy of life-whether
it is the repair of a child with cleft lip or an adult
with excess eyelid skin. I have had the opportunity
to practice my plastic surgery in an academic environment
and now in private practice. With the Plastic Surgery
Group of Memphis, my specific interests include cosmetic
and aesthetic surgery of the face, eyelids and ears,
surgery of the breast and reconstruction of the nose
after skin cancer. As the director of the local Cleft
Palate-Craniofacial Team, I enjoy the challenges of
pediatric cleft care. My interest and experience in
plastic surgery have allowed me to travel in the Pacific
as part of RSF, The Reconstructive Surgery Foundation,
Inc., to provide plastic surgery care to people in Micronesia and to Kijabe, Kenya tooperate on children there.
I consider it a privilege and responsibility to be entrusted
with providing this specialized surgical care to you.
